Data deletion

Delete your account, disconnect a channel or remove 2market from a platform.

Effective

1. Delete your 2market account

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address of your 2market account, with the subject “Delete my account”.
  2. We confirm the request, and may ask you to verify that the account is yours.
  3. Within 30 days we delete your account, projects, content, media, connections and publishing history, and tell you when it is done. Backups expire within a further 30 days.

Never send passwords or tokens by email; we will never ask for them.

2. Disconnect a channel in the app

In 2market, open Channels, choose the account, Page or channel and select Disconnect. We delete its tokens immediately and ask TikTok, Facebook or Google to revoke 2market’s access. Threads offers no revoke request, so also remove 2market in Threads as shown below.

3. Remove 2market from TikTok

In TikTok, open Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions, select 2market and remove access. When TikTok stops 2market’s access, we can no longer use the connection.

4. Facebook data-deletion requests

  1. Open Facebook Settings → Apps and websites and remove 2market.
  2. In the removed app’s details, choose Send request to ask for your data to be deleted.
  3. Facebook shows a confirmation code and a status link from 2market. Keep them to check the result.

Removing the app makes us delete its tokens straight away. A deletion request also removes the Facebook account and Page names and identifiers we received from that authorization; it does not delete your 2market account or posts already on Facebook.

5. Remove 2market from Threads

In Threads, open Settings → Account → Website permissions, remove 2market, and request data deletion if offered. We delete the tokens when Threads notifies us; a deletion request also removes the Threads identifiers we received.

6. Remove 2market from Google and YouTube

Open your Google security settings, select 2market and remove its access. This revokes YouTube access; Google sign-in to 2market is a separate entry. To delete the YouTube channel details we stored, disconnect the channel in 2market or email [email protected].

7. Posts already published

Deleting 2market data or disconnecting does not delete posts already on TikTok, Facebook, Threads or YouTube. Remove them with that platform’s own tools.
